One place to talk: moving to Zulip
Jul 27, 2026
Conversation around Calliope now happens in one place: our chat on Zulip. Gitter and GitHub Discussions have been retired.
Zulip helps organise conversations. Every message belongs to a named topic inside a channel, so a thread about a solver error or a tricky bit of custom math stays legible weeks later instead of being buried under everything discussed since. A question that takes a few days to resolve can be picked up where it left off.
What this means in practice:
- Questions, half-formed ideas, and models you are stuck on go to Zulip. This is also the place to tell us about something you have built with Calliope.
- Bug reports and feature requests stay issues on GitHub.
- Major announcements — new releases and the like — continue to appear in this news section, which has an RSS feed you can subscribe to.
Whether you have been running Calliope for years or are working through the tutorials for the first time, come and say hello.
